The Knights Dinner or The Knights Banquet is held in the historical Chancellors´ House built in 1560.

Interested in the Middle Ages? Join us in the “Nonntal” area of Berchtesgaden, at 19:30, with Berchtesgadens´ own Knight, Rudolf von Lockstein and to guide you through the evenings festivities the Evening Attendant Anna Glossner.

Before the evening starts, guests have the option to dress up in Medieval Costume. A drink of Mead (Honey Wine) followed by a ritual hand wash starts the Festivities. On the Knights Table a small Aperitif awaits its´ Guests. The Master of Ceremony proceeds to welcome his Guests and asks for every ones attention. The Diners participate in a Traditional Table Etiquette Game, those who are marked out by the Master of Ceremony are penalised and are placed in embarrassing situations and can only be released through a Joke, a Poem or a Song. The Knights Banquet has various Themes to choose from and finishes around midnight, with the arrival of the evenings Attendant Anna Glossner, who brings the evening to an end just like in the “Days of Yore”.
