The Stöckllift in Ramsau near to the family run resort of Hochschwarzeck.
A part of the family ski resort of Ramsau Hochswarzeck is the Stöckllift. This lift has trained many guests and locals to ski, making this lift, in the National Park community of Ramsau, ideal.
The Stöckllift can be reached from two sides. The first is from Ramsau. From Berchtesgaden take the Alpine Road to the Hochswarzeck junction follow this wonderous route with lots of sweeping views of the Berchtesgaden Alps to the Hochscwarzeck. Upon reaching the Hochschwarzeck you will see, on the right hand side, the Stöckllift. The second route is from Bischofswiesen. Take the road to the Götschen and carry onto the Hochswarzeck, just past the Hochswarzeck at the rear of the Hochswarzeck parking lot is the Stöckllift.
The Stöckllift offers free parking and a snack bar for in between runs. Try the Farmhouse Ice Cream made from the milk of the Stöckl farm cows.
The Stöckllift is easy to ski and the Hang offers excitement for the children. While the children are being taken care of the adults can enjoy a bit of sledding, a walk along the Soleleitungsweg, used to transport the salt to Bad Reichenhall, or feed the wild animals in the nearby Klausbachtal.
