Gerlos Alpenstraße (Gerlos Alpine Road)
Yet another beautiful bike tour destination is from Berchtesgaden to the Gerlospass, better known as the Gerlos Alpine Road, in the middle of the beautiful countryside of the Salzburg Region. A side trip to the Krimmler Waterfall is a must.
The Gerlos Alpine Road is just like the Nockalm Road and the Glockner High Alpine Road in that there are lots of bends and curves for the biker to enjoy. One should also include the Krimmler waterfalls as part of the fun. The Gerlos Alpine Road is roughly 12 km long and a top elevation of 1,630 m.
