Berchtesgaden is the ideal holiday destination for either walking or summer holidays. Berchtesgaden’s National Park offers numerous places of interest and several excursions:

·        Admire the imposing Eagles, Vultures and Owls at the Obersalzberg Eagle Sanctuary.

·        Inspire yourself on a walking tour through the Wimbachklamm or the Soleweg.

·        Visit the Ice caves on the German / Austrian border Mountain, the Untersberg or the historical documentation centre on the Obersalzberg.

·        Take a mountain bike tour up to the Eagles Nest or around the Berchtesgaden Region.

·        Climb aboard the Obersalzberg cable car to the summer sled run (Rodelbahn), for children and adults alike.

·        Take a walk through the Magic Forest between Ramsau and Hintersee, ideal for the whole family.
